Job Description

The Penn State Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellow to support projects funded by the NIH/FDA and led by Dr. Joshua Muscat. The fellow’s primary responsibilities will be to conduct statistical analysis of The Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study and to assist with experimental clinical trials investigating subjective experiences, use behaviors and toxicant exposure from little cigars. Successful applicants should have a doctoral degree in public health, psychology, or a related field and experience in clinical research. Prior experience in tobacco and analysis of PATH data, while encouraged, is not required. The fellow will be located at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The fellowship comes with a competitive salary, funds for conference travel, and opportunities for collaboration and training at NIH/FDA-funded TCORS across the United States. The fellowship is available beginning Spring 2024 and is intended to be a 2-year position with the potential to extend for a third year.
