Job Description

Our laboratory focuses on the development, remodeling, and mechanobiology of tendon and its attachment to bone (the enthesis).
Projects currently in laboratory include use and development of microphysiological systems and engineered devices; optogenetic control of skeletal muscle for controlled contraction; injury models of tendon and enthesis in mice; transgenic models (e.g., knockin and knockout studies) for understanding musculoskeletal connective tissue development; extracellular matrix-cell interactions; and more.
