Job Description

Nabila Brihmat, PhD, is an associate research scientist in the Tim and Caroline Reynolds Center for Spinal Stimulation at Kessler Foundation. Dr. Brihmat obtained a master’s degree in Biology & Health and then in Neuropsychology & Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Toulouse in France. Pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience, she joined the Toulouse Neuroimaging Center (ToNIC), where her research focused on the exploration of appropriate measures and therapeutic interventions for the assessment and motor rehabilitation of individuals who had suffered stroke. She studied a wide range of interventions such as virtual reality systems based on action observation processes, neuromodulation interventions, pharmacological treatments, and exoskeleton devices. She assessed their therapeutic potential using neuroimaging, neurophysiological, kinematic, and clinical measures.
