Job Description
My research interest goes to the regulation mechanism of the trafficking of signaling molecules in mammalian cells. Accumulated molecules induce signaling in the local area to change the morphology and fate of the cells. We are particularly interested in the trafficking of the receptor for the growth factor of vasculature which regulates angiogenesis. By regulating the receptor trafficking, we developed the therapeutic strategy for angiogenesis-related diseases such as cancer and blinding eye diseases.
